Common questions
Do you offer a sliding scale?
No. I charge a single flat rate. I find it keeps things simpler and more equitable, without the awkwardness of means-testing.
How do I pay?
Payment is due on the day of your session, either beforehand or at the time. I accept bank transfer and several other easy methods. Details are shared when you book.
What if I need to cancel?
I ask for at least 48 hours notice where possible. This allows me to offer the slot to someone else. Late cancellations may be charged at the full rate.
Is the initial call really free?
Yes. The initial 20-minute call costs nothing and carries no obligation. It is simply a chance to see whether working together feels right.
How many sessions will I need?
There is no fixed number. Some people find a handful of sessions is enough; others prefer to work over a longer period. You are free to stop at any point.
Do you work with insurance?
I do not currently work directly with insurance providers. If your insurer reimburses private counselling costs, I can provide a receipt for your records.
